Studio A is the largest and most comprehensive room here at SubCat, it was designed specifically to provide the highest quality recordings in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

The control room utilizes our large collection of vintage analog gear as well as our ProTools HD3 Accel System. Our analog gear has been carefully maintained and in many instances, rebuilt to it's original specifications.

Studio A is equipped with Genelec 1031a monitors to provide the most accurate representation of your mix. These, paired with our acclaimed Yamaha NS-10M's are the first choice for any studio professional.

In this room you'll find our Mastering suite, complete with Studer 1/4" tape machines, as well as a workstation built soley for editing.

The live room is 20'x23' and holds our beautiful Hallet & Davis Co. concert grand piano. Our piano is tuned regularly and is in excellent working condition. We also have a full size Hammond Organ, complete with a Leslie rotating speaker cabinet.

In addition, we have a huge collection of vintage amps and guitars, keyboards, cymbals and percussion instruments you can use at any time, free of charge.
